About the event
Join us (Emma + Nicole) for a workshop & potluck to unpack our relationships with money and take direct actions towards building solidarity economies in our communities in Philly!
Participants are invited to creatively tune in to their personal and ancestral stories about money. Grounded in the personal, we will move together through a liberation framework (grieve ground imagine strategize) as it relates to systemic inequalities in our own local Philadelphia economy (grieve - ground) and explore practices to transform our local economy and how we operate within it (imagine - strategize). Participants should expect to leave with full bellies, new connections, and a personalized action plan to move yourself closer toward your own and our collective liberation as it relates to money.
